Victor Charles Japour, Jr., age 70, of Newnan, GA, passed away on July 27, 2017. He was born October 25, 1946 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Victor and Elizabeth Japour. He graduated from Northeast High School and attended St. Petersburg Junior College. He served honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Minnesota. Vic retired in December of 2012 after a long successful career in sales. He enjoyed golfing, playing his guitars, fishing and watching football and golf. Strayer on February 14, 1970. They had one son, Justin Kahill Japour (Sarah) and grandchildren, John Charles Japour and Mary Greely Japour. He is also survived by sisters, Anne Japour, Betsy Japour, Mary Katherine Pratt (Jeff); brother, Jeffery (Paul) Japour and nieces, Julia Tess Mullinax, Jana Japour, Katherine Japour and nephew, Jeffery Japour of St. Petersburg, FL. Vic will be remembered and forever missed as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to all. May his memory be eternal with our love and prayers.

I was so shocked when I got Marcia Walters '65 e-mail about Vic's passing. I remember some of our fun times during our senior year. He was always the life of the party as I saw at NeHi and our reunions. I don't think he missed a single '64 or '65 NeHi event. I always remember him in a sports coat or tux and tie in shorts with loafers and no socks. I'm sure God is having a chuckle at his dress code now. God bless him and his wife Pam.
