Terrance "Terry" Jerome Gallagher, age 66, of Tyrone, Georgia, passed away on May 17, 2013. He was born on July 24, 1946 in Winona, Minnesota to parents, Glenn and Irene Gallagher. He graduated from Northeast High School and St. Petersburg Junior College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Terry retired from a long career with Delta Airlines as an Operations Instructor where he travelled the world touching many lives. Terry was an avid cook and entertainer who never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, boating, flying model airplanes and spending time with family and friends.
He was widowed by the late Deborah Gallagher and is survived by his son, Logan (Katherine) Gallagher of Baltimore, Maryland; his brother, Michael (Virginia) Gallagher; nieces, Melissa and Amanda Gallagher of St. Petersburg, FL; his childhood friend, Bob (Dolly) Meyer; and companion, Debra Borgerding. |

Terry was the best man in my wedding and I was the best man in his wedding. Pam and I were at his side when he passed a year ago next month..We miss him more than words can say!

Terrry was one of my 6th grade classmates at 54th Ave. Elementary; Mrs. Gray's class. His mom worked in our cafeteria and was always so nice to us. I remember that he loved to tell jokes.
